Wilford Lane Developments Limited (WLDL) – a joint venture between Kuwaiti developer/investor Salhia Real Estate Co KSC and Simons Developments Ltd – has sold the commercial element of its West Bridgford mixed-use scheme in Nottingham to Quora Limited, the national commercial mixed-use developer for £3.92 million.
The 41,000 sq ft scheme is pre-let to Lidl for a 21,000 sq ft food store, a 10,000 sq ft PureGym and 1,800 sq ft Starbucks. Some 7,500 remains available. Construction is underway and scheduled for completion in the Autumn.
Frank Gillespie of WLDL said: “This sale concludes the first phase of our strategy for the site, having added considerable value through the planning process and a highly successful pre-letting campaign. We will shortly be bringing the residential element of the scheme to the market.”
West Bridgford, home to Trent Bridge Cricket Stadium and Nottingham Forest FC’s ground, is one of Nottingham’s most sought-after neighbourhoods and the site is located on Wilford Lane, within easy reach of Nottingham city centre.
Colliers International acted for WLDL on the sale and were joint letting agents with McMullen RE.
