Horizon38, the rapidly evolving trade park in North Bristol, has welcomed CareCo UK Ltd to its dedicated trade counter terrace.
Specialists in mobility aids and equipment, CareCo has chosen Horizon38 for its first showroom in Bristol.
Horizon38, developed by MSF Filton, a joint venture between St Francis Group and Isec, is located adjacent to the A38 in Filton. As reflected in this latest deal, the trade park continues to attract high quality occupiers to its range of speculatively built units.
CareCo UK Ltd has taken a 5,098 sq ft unit, that has prominent frontage to promote its business, and dedicated customer parking. The unit is part of a terrace of seven trade showrooms, with easy access from Gypsy Patch Lane.
The trade counter terrace is situated adjacent to Car Shop, GKN R&D facility, and Selco Builders Warehouse – high profile occupiers that have been drawn to this exceptional regeneration project.
CareCo has 21 showrooms across the UK.
CareCo Managing Director William Harrison says, “We had been waiting for the right opportunity in Bristol for some time so pleased to add this to our national portfolio of quality showrooms with yet another institutional landlord.”
James Short from Avison Young, joint letting agent with JLL for Horizon38 says, “We are delighted to welcome yet another high-profile business to Horizon38. With its prominent location alongside the A38, Horizon38 is a major part of the new North Bristol growth area and is rapidly developing into a thriving community for businesses who recognise the distinct advantages of trading at this exceptional development.”
The high specification trade counter units range in size from 3,901 – 5,181 sq ft, units can also be combined to create a larger floorspace. With a further unit now under offer, only four units remain, all are available for immediate occupation. City Plumbing was the first company to open its doors at the trade counter terrace at the beginning of 2020.
Horizon 38 is part of the East Works Masterplan Development, with MSF Filton investing around £50m into a range of speculative industrial units and infrastructure. The new £85 million employment scheme combines industrial and distribution buildings totalling 580,000 sq ft.
GKN Aerospace has made Horizon38 the home for its new £32million global technology centre. Sytner Group has built a £15million sales and service operation for its CarShop brand, while the Village Hotel and Leisure Club was one of the first businesses to open on the development.
