Property developer HBD has reached a major new milestone at Butterfield Business Park, Luton, with the completion of Eden Farm’s new 73,000 sq. ft. base.
Eden Farm is a national wholesaler and distributor specialising in frozen food, ice cream and chilled products.
The new, purpose-built building provides Eden Farm with the facilities and space to deliver on its growth strategy, while keeping a large number of jobs within the Luton area.
The project also facilitated the completion of half of the spine road at Butterfield Business Park, unlocking the further expansion of the scheme.
Adrian Schofield, Senior Director at HBD said: “Butterfield Business Park is injecting crucial inward investment into the regional economy in Luton, providing businesses with the space they need to expand, while also safeguarding much-needed existing jobs.
“Eden Farm is a large employer in Luton so it’s great to see the business remain in the area. I’ve no doubt that the new building will prove an effective base and we look forward to welcoming the team as they move their operations across.”
Fit-out works are underway and Eden Farm will move into its new building in the coming months.
Eden Farm MD, Ben Maxted, added: “Butterfield Business Park proved an ideal location for our business, and our new purpose-built facilities will support our growth plans. The frozen food market in the UK continues to perform well and the increased capacity at our new site will allow us to support rising demand and continue to provide the highest levels of service.”
Butterfield Business Park is a large 83-acre development in Luton. Along with great transport links, occupiers also benefit from an Innovation Centre, Business Village and hotel on site.
The agents for Butterfield Business Park are Adroit Real Estate, LSH and Cushman & Wakefield.
