A Bedfordshire warehouse has been acquired by a private investor in an off-market deal as strong demand for property in the industrial and logistics sector continues
The International Wine Centre unit, at Dallow Road industrial estate in Luton, has changed hands in a deal brokered by commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond.
They have now been instructed by the new owner to market the 43,154 sq ft unit to let, said Eamon Kennedy, partner and head of commercial agency (group) at Kirkby Diamond.
The high bay warehouse offers two-storey office accommodation and is located adjacent to junctions 10 and 11 of the M1 motorway. Nearby occupiers include B&Q, Tradepoint, Aldi, Hertz and Screwfix.
Eamon said: “This is an excellent warehouse in a first class location and we are very pleased that we were able to complete the deal on behalf of a private investor.
“The industrial and warehouse commercial property market in the region is continuing to show resilience and there is strong demand for freehold and leasehold accommodation.”
