Real-estate advisory firm, XPROP, has added two consultants to its team as part of a strategic focus on development and repurposing opportunities in the out-of-town sector.
Jerry Holmes, chief development officer at Qatari Diar, will serve as a residential and development consultant to XPROP and will advise on regeneration and redevelopment opportunities throughout the UK.
In a career spanning Qatari Diar, Stanhope PLC and Candy & Candy, his development experience includes some of London’s most high profile schemes, including Chelsea Barracks, One Hyde Park, Paternoster Square and the US Embassy redevelopment on Grosvenor Square.
Nick Brooks also joins as development consultant from Kier Property, where he specialised in industrial, logistics and trade counter development. With over 30 years’ experience, Brooks will add in-depth expertise in the industrial and logistics sectors to the existing XPROP team.
Mark Powell, partner at XPROP, said: “As the out-of-town sector evolves, XPROP has positioned itself to offer consultancy advice to owners and operators seeking alternative uses. Development specialists of Jerry and Nick’s calibre are a valuable addition to the team and serve as a direct response to the changing needs of our client base.”
