Essex X-Ray has committed to a 33,000 sq ft unit at the new office, industrial, R&D and logistics park, Horizon 120, being constructed close to the A120 in Braintree.
Horizon 120 Business and Innovation Park is a 65-acre scheme, capable of providing up to 750,000 sq ft of office and industrial space aimed at high-tech engineering and manufacturing, as well as logistics distribution companies.
The development also includes an Enterprise Centre, which will be delivered by Braintree Council following a successful bid for £7m grant funding.
The new occupier, Essex X-Ray are world leaders in the design and manufacture of high voltage interconnect solutions, including cable assemblies and receptacles for industrial X-ray, medical and scientific research applications. It specialises in resin encapsulation and potting technologies utilising high-performance insulation materials, for medium to high voltage products.
The business will relocate from its premises in Dunmow, Essex upon completion of the new facility at Horizon 120 in Q4 2021.

Infrastructure works are underway and will be completed in April 2021 with bespoke units, ranging from 7,000 sq ft to 150,000 sq ft, available on a freehold or leasehold design and build basis, for occupation from Q3 2021.
Horizon 120 is located just off the A120 in Braintree, Essex between the regional growth centres of Chelmsford and Colchester.
