Construction work on five brand new warehouses on an established Wolverhampton industrial estate is almost complete, with the high-specification units on track to be delivered in February next year.
South Street Capital, landlord at Planetary Industrial Estate in Wednesfield, has speculatively built a terrace of five new warehouses at the estate as it neared full capacity and to keep pace with demand for commercial stock in the Midlands.
With work on the units nearing completion, Harris Lamb is appointed as joint agents alongside Bulleys and follows a series of lettings through 2020.
Sara Garratt, of Harris Lamb, said: “With demand for industrial stock throughout the region well outstripping supply, we are confident that there will be significant interest in these high-specification opportunities.
“Planetary Industrial Estate itself is a well-appointed, established business park on Planetary Road, located two miles east of Wolverhampton and 15 miles northwest of Birmingham. The estate offers excellent UK access links, being located four miles away from both Junction 10 of the M6 Motorway and Junction 1 of the M54.
“With a practical completion date of February 2021, the units will comprise two-storey, fully-fitted offices, energy-saving PV roof panels, an eight metre eaves height and electric roller shutter doors. The onsite yard and parking facilities will include electric car-charging points.
“Units 43-47 range from 12,965 sqft to 15,855 sqft and are available on an individual or combined basis, allowing for disposals of approximately 20,000sqft, 30,000sqft and above, subject to availability,” she added.
