Investor and developer Create Real Estate has plans to convert a striking, red-brick Bristol building into new loft-style offices.
The impressive Victorian building, 1-2 Portwall Lane, Redcliffe, was purchased by Create Real Estate from Genting Casino, which formerly operated from the second and third floors.
Create Real Estate has plans to convert the former casino floors of the building into contemporary, loft-style work spaces of around 3,000 sq ft each.
The building is also home to much-acclaimed steakhouse and bar Pasture, which is known for its fire-based cooking and is run by Jamie Oliver-trained chef-owner Sam Elliott. The building is situated next to the Portwall Tavern pub, which has been serving drinkers in the city as far back as 1847.
