LaSalle Investment Management, advised by Hanover Green and JLL, has agreed a deal with Yakult to extend the company’s stay at Odyssey Business Park in South Ruislip, West London, for a further five years.
Yakult will now occupy its 4,500 sq ft of office space until February 2026.
Nneka Ejindu, Asset Manager at LaSalle, commented: “This commitment from Yakult is great news for the Park and demonstrates our investment in amenities was justified. It also supports our belief that in a post Covid-19 world, business park occupiers continue to want best-in-class office accommodation, amenities, access to public transport and excellent car parking.”
LaSalle has recently invested in a newly refurbished on-site Olympus café and employed a community manager to offer a health and wellbeing programme, with a wide range of benefits from running clubs to circuit training and BBQs.
Odyssey Business Park consists of four office buildings totalling 140,000 sq ft and, as well as ample on-site car parking spaces, is adjacent to South Ruislip Station (Central Line & Mainline services into Marylebone). It is home to companies from a wide range of sectors, including companies specialising in Tech, Pharma and Media. High-profile names in occupation include NEC, BBC, Pioneer DJ, Milpharm Hornbill and Selecta, among others.
There is just 13,882 sq ft remaining of refurbished office accommodation in Anteros at a quoting rent of £28.50 per sq ft.
Hanover Green and JLL advised LaSalle and Knight Frank advised Yakult.
