GVA, the UK’s largest independent property adviser, has been named Client Adviser of the Year in the annual property awards organised by the South West Business Insider. Director Tim Scruton was presented with the award at a gala dinner in Bristol.
“This is a great testament to the quality of work we are undertaking and the high regard we are held in by our clients,” said Tim.
In particular, GVA was commended for its work undertaken at Kingswood Health Centre in Bristol, where the firm’s specialist Primary Health Care team provided a range of property advice including architectural design, cost consultancy, project management, planning as well as a pharmacy letting. Over a four year period, GVA worked closely with Kingswood Health Centre to plan and successfully complete a new, state of the art health centre for 11,000 patients.
Dr Neil Kerfoot, GP at Kingswood Health Centre, said of GVA’s work, “We are extremely pleased with the outcome of this building. The look of the final build is excellent and impressive. The financial appraisal initially produced by GVA has been borne out as accurate and affordable.”
Two further projects were highlighted in South West Business Insider’s recognition of GVA’s client advisory work. Firstly the work undertaken by GVA’s project management team appointed in an employer’s agent capacity, on behalf of Goodman International at the £30 million development of a regional development centre for The Co-operative at Andover Commercial Park, and secondly for CHEP UK’s new pallet repair and distribution facility at Central Park, Severnside. Alongside the Employer’s Agent and Contract Administrator role carried out for Severnside Land, GVA also provides industrial agency advice jointly with Knight Frank, and has recently been appointed as estate manager at Central Park.
