Redditch-based chartered surveyors and valuers John Truslove have been named Most Active Agent in Worcestershire in the Radius Data Exchange survey produced in conjunction with EG, the commercial property market magazine.
Joint managing director Ian Parker was also named Worcestershire Dealmaker of the Year AND Warwickshire Dealmaker of the Year for 2020.
The survey year, which runs from August to August, saw John Truslove record a 36% increase in deals negotiated over the 12 months.
To win the title John Truslove beat off competition from national and regional chains such as Fisher German, Harris Lamb and GJS Dillon.
Ben Truslove, joint managing director, said: “This is an outstanding result for John Truslove and everyone in our small team who works so hard for our clients.
“The win proves that we know our patch better than anyone and with a dedicated service and hardworking team, we can out-perform many much larger agencies than ourselves.
“I believe this is recognition of the fact that we have been there for our clients during a year which has seen Brexit, a General Election and the Covid-19 lockdown all disrupting business in a way that has never before been experienced.”
He added: “As a firm, John Truslove straddles the Warwickshire and Worcestershire border from our base in Redditch, and we are ideally placed to advise all businesses, local, regional, national and international, on the options and availability in our area.”
Established in 1981, John Truslove was built up by the founder until he handed over the reins to joint managing directors Ian Parker and Ben Truslove. The firm is one of the Midlands’ leading independent business property advisers, covering Warwickshire, Worcestershire and the wider West Midlands.
John Truslove said: “I am immensely proud of what has been achieved by Ian, Ben and the John Truslove team.
“It is clear that I left the firm in very good hands and they have been able to build on a near 40 year legacy of consistent service to our clients and a dogged determination to ensure deals go through, despite everything the past 12 months has thrown at the UK.”
