Real estate investor and manager Cromwell Property Group has promoted Wouter Zwetsloot to the European Management Team (EMT).
As a member of Cromwell’s EMT, Wouter will play an integral role in leading the group’s ‘Invest to Manage’ strategy across Europe.
Wouter joined Cromwell 12 years ago as an asset manager in Amsterdam and was promoted to Head of Investment Management in 2016. In the following year, he became the Managing Director of the Benelux where he played an important role in supporting the business’ ongoing expansion and shift towards managing assets with a long-term outlook, before being promoted to his current role, Head of Real Estate Europe in April last year. In this role he is responsible for the overall property and asset management of Cromwell’s €3.5 billion AUM in Europe.
In addition to being part of the EMT, Wouter will continue with his day-to-day duties as Head of Benelux and Head of Real Estate Europe.
Mark McLaughlin, Managing Director Europe at Cromwell Property Group, commented: “Wouter brings a huge amount of experience to the European leadership team. Having worked at Cromwell for more than 12 years, he is extremely well-placed through both his knowledge of the business and his relationships with our investors to help us plot the future direction of the group.”
Wouter Zwetsloot, Head of Real Estate Europe at Cromwell Property Group, added: “This is a great time to be joining the EMT. We are working on some attractive new European investment strategies including our data centre and logistics funds, both of which are extremely relevant for investors looking to invest in Europe post pandemic.”
Wouter has a degree in real estate from Greenwich University in London and a master’s degree in real estate from the Amsterdam School of Real Estate.
