A leading national property consultancy has launched a new office in Exeter as it expands its presence in the South West.
Fisher German has opened a new office at Exeter Business Park as part of ambitious, long-term growth plans.
The firm, which has 26 offices across the UK, offers a broad range of professional services including all aspects of land and property management and consultancy.
It covers the six main property sectors of rural, utilities and infrastructure, sustainable energy, planning and development, commercial and residential.
Fisher German has been working with clients in the South West for 25 years, and has opened its first office in the region to better service its growing customer base in the area.
Since deciding to establish a base in the area, the firm has already demonstrated success in winning new business after being appointed on a local authority advisory board.
There are currently five members of staff based at the new office, with plans already underway to expand the team further in the new year.
Fisher German partner Matthew Trewartha said: “We are very pleased to launch our new office in Exeter, and after working in the area for many years we saw an opportunity to not only better service our existing clients, but also build on these foundations to expand our client base.
“We have extensive knowledge of the local marketplace, and being based here enables us to bring our national abilities to a new region. We have an exceptional team of experts based at the office, a number of which have strong routes and connections in the South West, so it is fantastic to be able to start a team in their home region.
“There is a great amount of confidence in the business community in Exeter and the wider South West, and we will continue to grow and expand, employing the very best people for the benefit of our clients.”
Hannah Rose, associate director at Fisher German, added: “Fisher German offers something quite different to what is currently available – we are a national firm who are very much locally-based and cover all aspects of property consultancy in depth, so opening our new Exeter office is a great opportunity for the business.
“We’re very open to widening our network, and welcome people getting in touch for a chat about what we do. We’re also very open to collaborating with other professionals in the region.
“Having an office in Exeter has already opened up opportunities to bid for new contracts in the area, and we are extremely pleased to win our first tender and look forward to continuing this success going forward.”
