GVA, the UK’s largest independent property advisor, has appointed Tim Scruton to the role of Regional Head of Building for the South West and South Wales region.
Tim, who is a director within the firm, has previously led GVA’s specialist Primary Healthcare Building team, and will now encompass this into his new role. GVA delivers building-related services from complex strategy to building maintenance and the design and delivery of construction projects.
A qualified Chartered Surveyor, Tim has over 20 years’ experience of the property and building industry, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the role including project management, commercial surveying and project monitoring.
He has worked on major projects throughout the South for clients including Lloyds TSB, Prudential, Legal & General, MEPC and Burford, and more recently numerous health trusts and local GP practices. Key projects include the contract for the 50th Anniversary Christmas Tree to the People of London by HM The Queen of Norway and Prince Andrew, and more recently the opening of Windrush Health Centre in Witney by David Cameron.
As part of GVA’s plans to further grow its Building team in the South West, Anthony Burn has been appointed as a project manager. Anthony joins the company from Sweet Group.
