A company specialising in fire protection for hardware has acquired a large industrial and office building in a prominent village setting near Salisbury.
Vanquish Hardware Protection has moved into Fusion House which overlooks the A338 at Downton Business Centre, in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
The company has agreed a 10-year lease on the detached 5,388 sq ft (500.55 sq m) building, with financial details remaining confidential for business management reasons.
Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “Vanquish Hardware Protection manufactures bespoke fire rated solutions for hardware protection used in fire doors.
“The company’s product FlexiFire is an innovative thin and flexible graphite-based intumescent material that can be made to fit any hardware such as locks and hinges.
“Vanquish was seeking large new premises and Fusion House, in a highly prominent position at the entrance to Downton Business Centre and with excellent transport links, proved to be ideal.”
The building is arranged with two storey offices and an adjoining factory/warehouse space, which could be sub-divided into three individual units each served by an up-and-over shutter door. Outside, there is a dedicated forecourt providing turning, loading and parking for up to 27 vehicles.
Downton is about six miles south of Salisbury on the A338 and Downton Business Centre is on the northern edge of the town.
