The last unit on a Liverpool trading estate has been snapped up, demonstrating business confidence in the area.
The 3,232 sq ft unit on The Sandon Estate, Derby Road, has been taken by coffee production and distribution business the Neighbourhood Coffee Company Limited, which has signed a 10-year lease with national commercial property and investment company LCP, which owns and manages the estate.
Andrew Cox, industrial asset manager at LCP, said it was good news for the area that a growing business had moved to the popular industrial estate.
“With everything we have experienced this year, with the coronavirus pandemic, it’s great that this popular industrial estate continues to attract ambitious businesses that are keen to locate to The Sandon Estate.”
LCP appointed Mason Owen and Partners to market the final unit.
Louis Holt, chartered surveyor at Mason Owen said: “We are delighted to see the voids fill up on this popular estate. Its location and specification has proven to be extremely desirable for local businesses over the last couple of years and it was pleasing to be able to assist another client in achieving their full rental potential.”
The Sandon Estate comprises 21 units, which range from 2,700 sq ft to 5,600 sq ft. Current occupiers include a diverse range of users from trade counters such as Dulux, City Plumbing and BES Electrical.
