Oriental food wholesaler Asiana Ltd has sold its warehouse HQ building at a well-established Nottingham industrial park for £2.2 million following a business restructure.
The 38,000 sq ft unit on Dabell Avenue, the central spine road through the Blenheim Industrial Estate in Bulwell, was bought by an unnamed investor in a deal brokered by Innes England.
Kapil Lathia, Director of Asiana Developments, said: “We are really pleased with this deal and it’s a great opportunity for the business to relocate to a more suitable premises. It’s been a win-win situation for both Asiana Ltd and Asiana Developments. As a result of the recent family business restructure we have now been able fulfil the requirements for each of our individual businesses.
“We chose Innes England for the disposal as we felt the firm was best suited due to its national contacts and expertise of the area.”
Scott Osborne, Director at Innes England, who has been retained by the purchaser to identify a tenant, said: “Blenheim Industrial Estate is regarded as one of the prime industrial estates in the region and we received interest in the unit from a number of parties.
“Despite the current economic uncertainty, there is still strong demand for well-located and high-quality warehouse and industrial properties and we’ve already had enquiries about the lease.”
The modern, detached unit offers open span warehouse space complete with two-storey offices and ample parking, set within a secure gated site.
Located in a prominent position, the Blenheim Industrial Estate is just 1.5 miles from junction 26 of the M1 motorway and only five miles north of Nottingham city centre.
