LabTech, owner of Camden Market, has announced the debut opening of Canna Power, the market’s first high quality CBD (Cannabidiol) wholesaler, and The Indian Alley, the market’s latest modern Indian restaurant. Both operators are the first to launch in Camden Market post lockdown, within Stables Market.
Just one month on from the reopening of over 80% of Camden Market’s traders on 1 June, LabTech has also signed three more names including; Sweyn Forkbeard, who will open a unique male grooming boutique; Neat Burger, the world’s first plant-based sustainable burger chain; and Spanish inspired creperie, Prep’ La Crepe.
All join over 900 other brands and food and beverage retailers located in Camden Market; each of the brands are committed to implementing their own social distancing methods in line with Camden Market to continue welcoming visitors safely and securely.
Located within Stables Market, Camden, Canna Power’s new store spans two units, equivalent to around 200 sq ft. Having been designed by the wholesaler’s internal team, this is the brand’s first debut store in London and focuses on their lifestyle products including, Hemp and CBD food and beverage items as well as cosmetics, toiletries, oils, vapes and all accessories and paraphernalia.
Located alongside Phillipe Contuchini and Rudy’s Vegan Diner in Camden Market’s dining destination North Yard, The Indian Alley is being launched by the team behind Benares Restaurant and Bar, the well known fine-dining Indian restaurant in Mayfair. The Indian Alley is a new Indian street food concept for the 2,250 sq ft Camden Market site. Located in a grade I listed building and created by the brand’s in house team, the plan is to completely refurbish the restaurant in early 2021. The restaurant will open in early-August 2020.
Sweyn Forkbeard, the male grooming brand that takes its name from the first Viking of England famed for his eternally immaculate hair and beard, is set to expand their site in Camden Market to two units totalling 400 sq ft, adding their first barbershop in Camden as part of the upsize. Designed by their in house team, the barbershop will carry a 1900s theme throughout with customised barber chairs and displays of antiques over 120 years old. With over 125 male grooming products on offer, each item is certified 100% organic, with a percentage of profits donated to local charity, Camden Giving.
Neat Burger – the world’s first plant-based sustainable burger chain – has also signed for a 500 sq ft unit at Camden Market, its second-ever dine-in outlet in London, after Mayfair. The brand is backed by five-time FIA Formula One World Champion, Lewis Hamilton, in collaboration with hospitality organisation, The Cream Group, and UNICEF Ambassador and early backer of Beyond Meat, Tommaso Chiabra. Neat Burger’s Camden store will offer individuals a streamlined plant-based menu, featuring delicious meat-free dishes that are more sustainable, healthier and ethical. Neat Burger is due to open its Camden outlet in August 2020.
Creperie, Prep’ La Crepe is to open a dedicated grab and go kiosk for their debut London site. Camden Market is the brand’s third overall, joining their two Spanish branches including the recently opened 100+ cover restaurant in the main tourist hub of Madrid City. Their Camden restaurant will pay homage to the success of their French menu; offering well-balanced and nutritious food including; sweet and savoury crepes accompanied by salads, smoothies and other drinks. The Camden site will be an all-day dining concept for visitors to enjoy main meals as well as snacks.

The reopening of Camden Market will be followed by the reopening of Buck Street Market, UK’s first eco market on July 15.
