Integrated business data and telecoms provider TWL has appointed a marketing manager to help guide the company through a rebrand.
Andrew Hirst, 27, from Bridgend, joins in the newly created position having worked for the past five years in a marketing role for the largest motorcycle dealership in Wales.
With responsibility for overseeing the rebrand of TWL and working with Celf Creative on the company’s new website, Andrew was recruited through the marketing specialists at Yolk Recruitment.
Andrew will report directly into TWL’s managing director Andrew Nicholson, working alongside him to develop an integrated marketing strategy to drive forward the company’s ambition of becoming the number one data and telecoms provider in Wales.
Since it was established in 2003, TWL has grown year on year and is now a £1.4m turnover company providing telecoms, mobile phone solutions, data cabling and broadband.
Andrew Hirst said: “I wanted to join TWL because I could see the potential the company has in terms of growth and I believe that a key element to any business’s success is its people. The TWL team are a great bunch of people – friendly, approachable, professional and extremely knowledgeable – and I look forward to working alongside them, using my marketing experience to help drive forward the business plans.”
TWL’s managing director, Andrew Nicholson, added: “It’s great to have Andrew on board at this important time for the business. In the past we have worked on a reactive marketing strategy but with Andrew’s expertise this is set to change and we will be adopting all elements of the marketing mix to help us move forward with our ambitions. The telecoms sector is a mature market so it important for us to focus on our USPs, such as the flexibility we offer our customers. By taking a focused and targeted approach to our marketing, I’m confident that we can take the business forward to the next level as we aim to become the business data and telecoms provider of choice in Wales.”
Working with clients including Cardiff Blues and Cardiff Metropolitan University, TWL provides Mitel, Toshiba and Siemens office telephone systems; mobile solutions through the four main UK networks; HellermanTyton data and fibre cabling and a range of broadband packages.
