Gazeley, a leading investor and developer of logistics warehouses and distribution parks, has announced the appointment of Robin Johns as Director of Business Technology.
Robin’s primary responsibility will be to provide strategic technology leadership for Gazeley, GLP’s European Platform. Robin will report to Shane Kelly, CFO, Gazeley, and will form an integral part of the European management team. He will be involved in strategy definition, operational leadership as well as close project and programme delivery. Robin will also work in conjunction Sam Oh, Global Head of IT, to ensure involvement in Group strategic initiatives, regional application and execution. He will work to make service delivery, infrastructure, and operational platforms a competitive advantage for the whole business, in order to provide the best possible service to our customers.
Robin has over 20 years’ experience of leading global, regional and UK businesses and IT departments through significant transformations across the Consumer Goods, Utility and Energy sectors. Robin joins Gazeley from BP, where he spent a year as Interim Delivery Director and led the delivery of a global transformation project. Robin previously spent six years as CIO at Tideway, a private equity backed regulated utility business, where he led the digital transformation.
