Global property consultancy Knight Frank has promoted two members of the team at its Cardiff office.
Leah Mullin, who heads the Residential Development function in Cardiff, has been promoted to partner, while Elliot Evans becomes a senior surveyor in the Capital Markets division.
Leah joined Knight Frank in 2014 and has helped deliver a number of the key residential development schemes in Cardiff in recent years. Earlier this year, for instance, Leah was involved with the sale and funding of Plot 5 at Capital Quarter in central Cardiff to IM Properties and Grainger. The proposed scheme will provide 307 much needed build-to-rent units.
Leah said: “Cardiff is a thriving city with potential for a vibrant residential property sector and, despite the current unusual situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic, I am sure we will continue to see growth in the residential sector. I am delighted to join the Partnership and I look forward to my growing role within the company.”
Elliot Evans joined Knight Frank in Cardiff in 2015 as a graduate surveyor, after achieving a first class honours degree in law at Swansea University, and a MSc in real estate management at the University of West of England in Bristol. After periods in the firm’s industrial and office agency teams he joined the Capital Markets division in 2017, which for the 2019-2020 financial year, was involved in £62,030,000 worth of deals and attributes – an 83% market share in South Wales.
He said: “It is a real pleasure to be repeatedly involved in some of the largest, sector-wide property investment deals in South Wales, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to increase my expertise in the sector whilst providing a high quality service to our clients.”
Matt Phillips, head of the Cardiff office of Knight Frank, said: “Our partnership model allows us to maintain sharp focus on two things, our people and our clients, which we believe has enormous value, especially during times like these.
“These promotions recognise the dedication, dynamism and hard work of Leah and Elliot. I have no doubt that they will continue to exceed expectations and deliver a first class service to our clients.”
