Business has been brisk at Lakes Business Park in St Ives, Cambridgeshire where sole agent Barker Storey Matthews (now part of Eddisons) reports that two brand new light industrial schemes have been completed.
In total there are 14 brand new units within the two new schemes – Oak Court and Chestnut Court – at the business park which is home to a range of occupiers including Cambridgeshire Bathrooms, Vindis Bentley and Cambridgeshire Constabulary.
At Oak Court there are two units of 1,750 sq ft and 2,400 sq ft available to lease and at Chestnut Court, four units have been sold or let with the remaining three under offer.
All units are suitable for light industrial, warehouse and general business use and have offices and parking.
Oak Court and Chestnut Court are part of the latest phase of development at Lakes Business Park and follow the successful developing-out of Willow Court last year (2019).
Lakes Business Park, St Ives is a prominent roadside location adjacent to the former A14 road but now designated as local road, the A1307, between Cambridge and Huntingdon, to the south of the market town of St Ives.
The business park is well positioned for nearby access to the new A14 and onward access to the national road networks of the A1 and A1(M), M6 north and the A14 south and east and south to the M11.
Richard Adam, Director, Barker Storey Matthews, who has led the marketing of Willow Court, Oak Court and Chestnut Court, commented, “The new schemes at Lakes Business Park offer quality, new build units at a first class location.
“There is a good mix of commercial occupiers at the park with both tenants and owner occupiers in situ bringing a variety of commercial uses to the development.
“Oak Court and Chestnut Court have attracted strong interest and we anticipate the same for the remaining units there.”
