Independent real estate consultancy Knight Frank has announced seven new promotions across its Edinburgh and Glasgow offices, strengthening its commercial operation in Scotland.
Three senior promotions have been made in the valuations team, with Neil Kirk made partner in Edinburgh, while Matthew Aitchison and David Findlay – based in the Scottish capital and Glasgow, respectively – have been named associates.
Neil Kirk joined Knight Frank’s valuations division from Cushman & Wakefield in 2017. Neil is heavily involved in all aspects of residential valuation work, including both conversion and new-build developments, as well as student accommodation and wider residential portfolios.
A further four team members – Rhu Wishart in the capital markets division, Alex Mackay and Charlotte Swearman in the office agency team and Graham MacNicol in building surveying – have also been promoted to senior surveyor.
Alasdair Steele, head of Scotland commercial at Knight Frank, said: “Against the backdrop of Covid-19 and the challenging circumstances for the property market over the last few months, it’s great to be able to recognise the hard work and dedication of our team.
“We’ve made a significant number of promotions, highlighting the exceptional level of talent that we have coming through and the continued strength of the firm. As a business, we are committed to professional development and are proud to support employees at every stage of their careers, from graduate level to partner.
“While these promotions celebrate the contribution that each individual makes to the wider consultancy, together they all play an important role in supporting our clients and contributing to our success in Scotland.”
