An extensive refurbishment is underway at an industrial estate in Sheffield.
Landlords Mileway recently acquired Parkway Link as part of a wider portfolio and have immediately committed to undertaking extensive refurbishment to modernise the estate to meet occupiers requirements.
The refurbishment will upgrade four of the nine units at the park to provide modern industrial warehouse accommodation, ideal for industrial, warehouse and trade use.
Knight Frank in Sheffield is marketing the units, which range from 5,560 sq ft to 6,872 sq ft. The units offer flexibility and can be combined to accommodate up to 24,479 sq ft.
Rebecca Schofield, head of the Yorkshire Industrial team at Knight Frank said: “During the last few years we have seen an increasing number of landlords invest in upgrading commercial estates to a high standard to fulfil the ongoing requirements for industrial property within the region.
“The extensive refurbishment includes overclad roofs, new clad elevations, full internal decoration with new LED lighting and refurbished offices and WCs.
“There is a shortage of industrial and warehouse units of this size across the region and upon completion the units will be finished to a high standard and we anticipate good levels of interest especially given the location.”
Parkway Link benefits from being ideally situated just off Sheffield Parkway within an established industrial location and is already home to occupiers including HSS, Jewson, Jack Wills, Costco and Howdens.
Located on Kettlebridge Road, Parkway Link offers easy access to Sheffield City centre two miles away and the M1 motorway J33, just 5 miles via the A57 Sheffield Parkway.
