Commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors have completed a third deal as many weeks – defying the economic downturn brought on by the coronavirus epidemic.
The latest saw NG director Sunny Landa Sunny act for his landlord client to let the 4,536 sq ft unit at Mercian Close on the Manners Industrial estate in the Derbyshire town of Ilkeston to Midland Industrial Designers.
The move comes after Midland Industrial Designers, which has been trading for over 60 years, won a substantial new contract.
Midland Industrial Designers is at the forefront of innovative valve design in the UK, specialising in valves that handle dry, powdered or granulated materials.
The deal means that NG director Sunny Landa has completed a hat-trick of property transactions under lockdown conditions.
He said: “We’ve adapted quickly to the different conditions brought about by the lockdown to keep the transactions flowing. This is a another great outcome for our client and shows that good quality stock will continue to attract the very best tenants – even during the recent unprecedented conditions.
“Our extensive knowledge of the East Midlands commercial property sector means that we’re looking forward to helping more companies realise their growth ambitions as lockdown eases.
“I wish Midland Industrial Designers all the best in their new home and look forward to working with them again in the future.”
Richard Sutton, managing director of NG Chartered Surveyors, added: “Three deals in three weeks shows that our confidence in the market is not misplaced. We are continuing to handle a healthy amount of enquiries across both office and industrial property and I’d urge those companies looking to either expand or downsize to get in touch with us.”
