CBRE has re-opened its Birmingham office, with employees returning to the Temple Row base from 1 June.
The leading global real estate firm is introducing staff back in a phased approach and in accordance with Government guidance.
The firm recommenced building inspections and viewings on behalf of clients last month, following Government and RICS compliant procedures prioritising the safety and well-being of staff and clients.
The Birmingham office will follow CBRE’s internal guidelines for office re-opening, which includes complying with local government requirements; adapting space to ensure social distancing; adhering to cleaning and hygiene supply protocols and posting instructional signage. Community readiness, work-from-home options, commuting issues and consideration for any employees who may be at-risk have all been factored into the phased return.
Martin Guest, managing director of CBRE Birmingham, said: “The team has worked hard over the last few months, finding new and innovative ways of working and adapting quickly to support and advise our clients. Our leading technology has served us well during lockdown, allowing us to stay connected with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
“While our return will be phased and tentative, I am very much looking forward to welcoming the team back to the office.”
