Following completion of the new industrial development at Crown Park, FHP Property Consultants and their clients, Clowes Developments, are pleased to announce the first sale.
The first unit has been purchased for occupation by Sunset VW as part of their expansion. Sunset VW have been established at Parcel Terrace since 1986, being specialists in the VW/Audi Group and have expanded organically over the years. They have continued to invest in the business and this new property acquisition is a natural next step.
Tim Richardson of FHP Property Consultants, who brokered the deal commented:
“My clients have constructed a really high quality scheme with an excellent specification and a generous secure yard area. We are delighted that Sunset VW will be expanding into Crown Park which will provide additional facilities to supplement their existing premises. We are shortly due to complete on another letting to a national business and we will release further details of that in due course.”
Matt Jordan of Sunset VW adds:
“We are delighted with this new unit, the whole site looks fantastic and gives us the opportunity to continue to grow and offer the best possible service for our customers”
Crown Park is in a prime location for trade and other commercial uses and has already been a popular destination for many years.
During 2019 and into 2020, Clowes Developments undertook a new build of 5 terraced units ranging from 2,508 sq ft to 7,696 sq ft plus a separate, standalone unit measuring 4,426 sq ft with its own secure yard.
The design and layout of the new buildings was influenced by previous successful developments within the Clowes portfolio and incorporates design details which ensure optimal efficiency for both occupiers and consumers.Amenities include generous car parking, circulation areas allowing large delivery vehicles to manoeuvre easily, an entrance barrier for security out of hours, cycle storage and an EV charging station at every unit.
Hannah Bailey, Development Surveyor at Clowes Developments, says: “Understanding the local market conditions and demands, as well as thinking through our options meant we were able to bring forward a project that neatly fitted together with our existing offer and gave us greater flexibility and appeal on this site.
“To see the site come to fruition has been a really satisfying moment with the scheme now focused on offering high quality, sustainable units close to Derby city centre.
“Interest from local and national occupiers has already been healthy. The almost instant success of the first unit sold means we know we’ve put together an appealing scheme and look forward to working with local and national businesses old and new on the rest of the development.”
Units between 4,426 and 7,696 sq ft are available now for sale or to rent via Tim Richardson at FHP Property Consultants.
