An industrial/warehouse unit at the Bluestone Centre at Amesbury has been snapped up by a new company.
Spire Imports Ltd has acquired Unit 9 at The Bluestone Centre, Amesbury in a deal brokered by property consultancy Myddelton & Major.
Quoting rent for the 1,485 sq ft (137.96 sq m) unit was £8,750 per annum and Spire Imports has agreed a six-year lease.
Myddelton & Major Commercial Agency Surveyor Gary Mead said: “The Bluestone Centre is the first new business centre development for more than a decade of Amesbury’s giant 160-acre Solstice Park.
“Therefore, demand from small to medium businesses continues to be strong and units such as this one are not on the market for very long at all.
“I was pleased to help company directors Stuart Downes and Oliver Cullen find premises for their online clothing business which was founded last year.”
The Bluestone Centre, situated at Sun Rise Way, occupies an elevated position on the Business Park, overlooking the Solstice Park Hotel and roadside services.
The 36-unit centre has been developed by Salisbury-based Nationwide Engineering Group.
Major occupiers at Solstice Park include Home Bargains, Muller Wiseman, Greggs (to be built), Lovibond and Animal Friends.
Amesbury, just nine miles north of Salisbury, has good links to the motorway network via the A303/M3 to London and to the north via the A34 to the M4 and M40.
