“The new outlet is creating in the region of six jobs, including showroom staff, counter staff and a driver.
“Lincoln is a popular destination and we are bringing a range of quality bathroom and tile products to the area for both public and trade customers. We’re encouraging local traders to visit the store, meet the team and drop off their business cards.
“Customers will be able to see our large, spacious showroom and fully-tiled displays for inspiration. They’ll also have access to our design services, which can be done remotely in the current climate,” said Lee.
“Our trade counter caters for professional installers, by providing a wide range of tiles, bathroom fittings and all the accessories they might need.”

“Ultimately, the trade park, which is firing the interest of companies keen to have trade counter or light industrial units, holds the promise of creating 450 jobs for the local economy.”
Toolstation, which is part of Travis Perkins was the first to sign-up, swiftly followed by Screwfix and Kent Blaxill.
Lincolnshire company Padley is developing Bishops Trade Park and Padley Commercial Manager Richard Padley is delighted with the way in which it is shaping-up.
“We are delighted with the progress being made, especially in the current challenging environment. It is further testament to our faith in bringing forward this development in late 2018,” he said.
“We are confident that this location – which is just a stone’s throw away from the new Lincoln Eastern Bypass – due for completion this August at a cost of about £120 million – is a real magnet for both relocating and expanding businesses.
“It is great to see them drawn to this increasingly lively area of uphill Lincoln, with its good communication links.”
Padley development consultant Shield Commercial Estates Director Mike Shield said: “This deal gives reassurance that this is a good strategic position for trade. The current tenants are reporting extremely good turnover, even through the lockdown.”
