Avent Interiors, a local family business has moved into its new premises at the recently developed Warmley Business Park, on the outskirts of Bristol.
The interiors business has seen significant growth in the last three years with its turnover trebling and had reached full capacity operating out of its previous premises in Kingswood.
Avent purchased the brand-new commercial property in late 2019 and have spent several months undertaking fit-out works which included the installation of a mezzanine floor to provide additional office space.
Otto Avent, Commercial Director said, “The new premises will provide increased operational capacity for our install teams and enable us to recruit more office staff in the near future, something we have to do to achieve our future growth ambitions”.
The business moved across to its new premises in March, just before Covid took hold of the UK. Asked if he were worried about what the future held, Otto said “You could say there couldn’t be worse timing to take on bigger premises and responsibility. However, we are really excited for the future. The team have taken this time to re-assess where we are as a business, improve back office processes and plan out how we want to implement further, sustainable growth after Covid. You have to stay positive in times like these.”
The business is certainly a family affair with Mark Avent, Managing Director and sons Otto & Colby both becoming directors in January 2019. All are heavily involved in the day to day running of the business.
Avent specialise in office & commercial interiors, providing fit-out and refurbishment in Bristol, across the South West and South Wales.
