A fast-growing East Midlands family firm which provides IT support to businesses is set for further expansion after moving into new offices in a deal brokered by commercial property specialists NG Chartered Surveyors.
IDT Limited has taken 3,401 sq ft of high quality office space at Unit 1, Mercian Park on the Manners Industrial Estate in Ilkeston after NG director Sunny Landa completed a mid-lockdown deal on behalf of a private landlord.
Luke Draper from IDT said: “Our previous offices were limiting us on expanding the business where we want it to be now and for the next 10 years. It took us a while to find the right unit but Mercian Park ticked all our boxes for us.
“It will be a complete fresh positive start for us, after such a busy year, especially with everything that’s going on in the world currently this is a nice positive step forward where we can bring clients and showcase everything we are and do as a business.
“Sunny and the team have been great and I cannot speak highly enough of them, a breath of fresh air to deal with. Extremely helpful from the start with nothing being too much trouble. The move for any business is massive with troubles and hurdles to get over, thankfully NG have been there supporting us and making it all a really positive experience.”
Sunny added: “This is exactly the type of deal that we specialise in; marrying great commercial property with fast growing businesses. It’s made even more notable for the fact we completed this under lockdown conditions.
“This deal is a great outcome for our landlord client and for IDT who recognise the fantastic location and potential of Mercian Park. We wish them well on their growth journey and look forward to working with the again as they continue to expand.”
