Frasers Property UK has appointed Workman on its portfolio of business parks across the South of England for an initial three-year term.
Workman will join the panel of building surveyors covering a range of refurbishment projects. The majority have been selected from a pipeline forecast of capex and service charge opportunities for 2020, identified by the development team of Frasers Property.
The assets within the framework portfolio hold in the region of 180 occupiers and 2.5 million sq.ft of commercial space.
Workman has already taken instructions from Frasers Property UK on two refurbishment projects at Watchmoor Park in Camberley as part of the new framework agreement. Works at Watchmoor Park will also include refurbishments to two existing reception areas and a cafeteria.
Jeff Breen, Workman Partner, commented:
“Our appointment to Frasers Property UK’s framework panel presents a fantastic opportunity for Workman to demonstrate its dedication and expertise to develop this new relationship. Each of the framework assets has its own set of unique requirements and we are ideally placed to meet these needs with our accumulated pool of local and dedicated staff. We are delighted to be part of this journey and will endeavour to give Frasers Property UK our full commitment.”
Jonathan Walsh, Head of Asset Management at Frasers Property UK, added:
“We aim to create strong working communities so businesses can flourish. The customer experience is key to our mission and we want to ensure we are continuously improving our services. As part of the framework, we will deliver flexibility and choice to our occupants, which is more important than ever in the current climate. The collaboration between Workman and Frasers Property UK has already proven fruitful at Watchmoor Park, with some great work in the pipeline to ensure our business parks remain welcoming, community-led spaces for all to enjoy. We are thrilled to announce this appointment and work with a partner who shares our vision and values.”
