A partner at a leading commercial property consultancy has claimed the coveted crown of dealmaker of the year for Bedfordshire.
Eamon Kennedy, of Kirkby Diamond, is celebrating winning the Estates Gazette award for completing the most property transactions across the county in 2019.
Kirkby Diamond, which has offices in Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes, recently secured three further awards in the EGi Most Active Regional Agent 2019. The consultancy is a regular winner in the annual Estates Gazette Deals Competition.
Eamon, head of commercial agency (group), said: “Kirkby Diamond’s success is a team effort and together we continue to punch above our weight, out-performing much larger, nationwide consultancies on transactions.
“Despite a year of fluctuations in business confidence, Bedfordshire has proved to be resilient, benefitting both from its proximity to London and its growing infrastructure.
“We have seen a buoyant market within Bedfordshire across most sectors but industrial, in particular, continues to grow underpinned by good values being achieved across the board.
“There are many investors seeking opportunities even though we are in a time of crisis. The wheels haven’t stopped turning. Clients are seeking good quality advice based on strong market knowledge, and taking stock of their business interests.”
Eamon added: “We have developed a reputation for providing exacting advice and support to clients and, with more businesses moving out of London to the M1 corridor, we can offer them an unrivalled depth of experience across the commercial property sector, coupled with excellent local knowledge.”
Kirkby Diamond supports a range of clients in finding suitable industrial properties and offices, acquiring land, developing estates, advising on funds and providing asset advice. The consultancy has almost doubled its agency team size in the past four years to cope with demand.
