Leading commercial property consultancy Hartnell Taylor Cook (HTC) has announced the appointment of its new Finance Director, John Jennings.
John brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked across a range of sectors, including within a property and facilities environment, and supported the likes of Vodafone and Abbey National (now Santander).
Prior to joining Hartnell Taylor Cook, he held a Finance Director role at Paligap Limited, a leading distributer of cycling goods, and before that JNC Enterprises Group, an EU-wide amusement equipment company.
Now, he joins Hartnell Taylor Cook at a time when its existing Finance Director of 20 years, Alasdair McLeod, steps back from the role. The firm has gone from strength to strength in recent years, introducing new service lines like its Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) Consultancy and key senior hires. In order to maintain this growth and stable business continuity, the firm remains committed to ensuring it has an experienced and diverse team.
John will be supporting the firm’s London and Bristol offices, and working as part of the senior team directing the business through its next phase, ensuring that Hartnell Taylor Cook remains on track to support clients and achieve its growth objectives.
Commenting on John’s arrival, Stuart Howell, Managing Partner, said:
“We are delighted to be welcoming John to the firm. His extensive experience working with fast-growing companies across the UK is impressive, and we’re excited to make the most of his skill set here at Hartnell Taylor Cook. With challenges posed by the current climate, we are committed to steering the firm through uncertain waters and I believe we have the best possible team to do so. It is of course a shame to see someone of Alasdair’s calibre step back from the role. However, we are thrilled to appoint John and look forward to celebrating with a welcome drink face-to-face soon.”
John Jennings added: “I’m excited about getting to know a new sector and have been impressed by Hartnell Taylor Cook’s standing in the market, with offices in both the capital city and a key region like Bristol. The firm has achieved impressive targets in recent years and I’m thrilled to be part of its next phase, continuing to expand its service lines and deliver excellence to clients.”
