Elite Partners Capital, the Singapore-based investor, has appointed James Tootell as head of asset management based in London to establish the UK based asset management platform for the portfolios of both Elite Partners Capital and the Elite Commercial REIT, which recently listed on the SGX in Singapore.
Previously James was asset management director – north at Telereal Trillium where he worked for 16 years. His has extensive experience in transactional asset management working across the UK as both landlord and tenant and managing all aspects of large and extensive property portfolios.
Elite Partners Capital was established in 2017 to deliver unique and lasting value for investors based on common interests, long-term perspectives and a disciplined approach. They work with both private and institutional investors to seek out attractive investment opportunities, where their expertise can be deployed in both the acquisition and the ongoing active management of the assets. Since incorporation, they have successfully invested in a number of UK property portfolios and have AUM in the UK of circa £500m.
The Elite Commercial REIT was listed in February 2020 on the SGX in Singapore. The REIT owns 97 assets in the UK, with over 99% of rental income derived from the UK Government as tenant.
James will work closely with the team in Singapore with a focus on the asset management of the existing portfolio, maintaining strong relations with the tenant base, and assisting with the underwriting of further UK acquisitions.
