Harris Lamb’s Building Consultancy team has overseen the £50,000 refurbishment of an industrial/trade unit located on Minworth Trade Park.
Acting for CBRE Global Investors, Harris Lamb were instructed to specify and project manage the refurbishment works which took place over a six-week period.
Marcus Andrew, who was responsible for overseeing the project, said: “This is the latest in a series of refurbishments being carried out on industrial estates throughout the Midlands, as landlords react to the ongoing demand for stock.
“By refurbishing existing units to an as-new standard, they can capitalise on their properties, renegotiating leases and attracting new tenants to the region.
“This particular project, which saw us refurbish Unit J8, involved stripping the 7,819 sq ft warehouse of the former tenant’s fridges and fittings, refitting and redecorating, replacing floor coverings and testing and overhauling its services to bring it to a high standard to place on the market.”
The project was completed within the allocated time frame and came in under budget.
Harris Lamb’s Agency team has been instructed to market the property.
