Commercial property consultancy Realest has appointed Adrian Whitfield to head up its south coast Industrial and Logistics team.
Adrian, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the sector, joins Realest’s Southampton-based team after a successful 15 years at the south coast offices of Lambert Smith Hampton.
His experience covers schemes of all sizes from small and mid-sized developments to major projects such as Alpha Park and South Central in Southampton and Logistics City, Basingstoke.
In his new role, Adrian will focus on building upon Realest’s activity in the industrial and warehousing sector along the M27/M3 corridor.

Realest, established in 2013, expanded in 2015 with the arrival of shareholders David Ferriman, Robert Haynes and Steven Williams. The team specialises in commercial property agency, building consulting and professional services, for public and private sector clients.
Realest worked with Meggitt PLC on its Manse Opus development at Prospero Ansty, near Coventry, which was named Deal of the Year over 250,000 sq ft in the 2019 Industrial Agents Society Awards.
The team’s client roster includes, amongst others, St Modwen, Columbia Threadneedle, ABP, Carnival, BMO, SSE and the University of Southampton.
