Leading fashion chain Monsoon is the latest High Street brand to move into the recently revamped Cascades Shopping Centre in Portsmouth in a deal brokered by Colliers International.
Monsoon joins an existing tenant line up which includes Marks & Spencer, Bhs, Next, TK Maxx, Primark, H&M, JJB, Starbucks, Lush and Vision Express.
Colliers Retail director Richard Saunders said: “The Cascades Shopping Centre continues to prove attractive and durable despite the recession.
“A high level of occupancy and strong footfall have been maintained despite the challenging market conditions and we are discussing terms with further tenants to build on the centre’s already broad appeal.”
“Monsoon is typical of the big High Street names the Cascades is looking to attract and although the retail letting market remains tough Colliers International will announce further new exciting tenants to the Cascades imminently.”
Cascades is asset managed by Orchard Street Investment Management. Colliers International are sole letting agents. Monsoon were represented by Savills.
