Real estate advisors Colliers International have launched a new flexible workspace division based in Manchester headed by Patrick Kennedy.
With the support of the well-established national offices team at the Manchester office of Colliers, Patrick will provide complementary and expert holistic and impartial advice to operators and occupiers of flexible workspace in Greater Manchester, Liverpool and elsewhere in the North West of England.
He explained: “The relentless pace of the co-working sector across Greater Manchester, the North West and elsewhere shows no signs of slowing. Operators are constantly seeking additional space, while more and more employers are understanding the benefits of flexible workspaces as the working environment continues to evolve. I am excited to be joining the team at this pivotal stage in the company’s strategic growth.”
Patrick stated while the initial focus will be on Greater Manchester, the longer-term strategy is to develop a dedicated flexible workspace team to also cover other major cities including Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol.
Patrick joins Colliers from OBI where he was head of flexible workspace. Prior to this, he was part of the business development team at recruitment and design consultancy, Morson Group.
Dominic Pozzoni, director, national offices at the Manchester office of Colliers International, said: “The arrival of Patrick and his invaluable experience heralds the launch of our flexible workspace division to address the requirements of clients wanting to accommodate the major changes in the way we work by providing flexible workspace options for themselves and their staff.”
