Industrial developer and asset manager Chancerygate has been named developer of the year at the Industrial Agents Society Awards for the third time in five years.
The highly competitive UK-wide category was voted for by Industrial Agents Society (IAS) agent members and saw Chancerygate win against two other finalists.
Now in its 32nd year, the IAS Awards saw hundreds of industrial property owners, occupiers, developers, funders and agents meet at an event in London to network and celebrate the sector’s success.
Chancerygate is the UK’s largest multi-unit industrial developer and asset manager and the only one operating nationwide, with 28 active sites stretching from Poole, Dorset, to Livingston, West Lothian.
This financial year, the developer aims to triple its completed developments compared with the previous year, targeting one million sq ft and 300 units across 11 schemes.
Commenting on the award win, Chancerygate managing director, Richard Bains, said: “Being voted developer of the year is a fantastic achievement. Doing so three times in the past five years recognises the outstanding work that Chancerygate does.
“The award is testament to a real team effort, not just from everyone in the company, but also from our excellent team of agents and consultants who have helped us get to where we are today. My sincere thanks go out to them and all those at Chancerygate who work so hard to drive our success.
“Our business continues to grow at pace, as does our reputation for project delivery, product excellence and an entrepreneurial approach. This is an exciting time for Chancerygate, but we will not rest on our laurels as we continue to implement our strategic expansion plan across the UK.”
Founded in 1995, Chancerygate has offices in London, Warrington, Birmingham and Milton Keynes.
