A Barnsley-based commercial property developer has completed a retail park in Hull, with businesses already moving into the ten units.
Commercial property developer Priority Space is behind the development between Kingswood and Bransholme in Hull, which will open to the public later this month.
Businesses moving into units include One Stop, Norwood Veterinary Group, Michaela Adams Barbers, a bakery, beauticians and two takeaways. Priority Space is also in discussions with a national family pub restaurant chain to occupy the remaining land.
Adam Richardson, co-director at Priority Space, said: “We are delighted to welcome businesses onto the site and hope this will be a real boost for the local area, providing a vibrant place where people can work, shop and meet.”
Garness Jones and PPH are the joint marketing agents. Zoe Clarvis, agency surveyor at Garness Jones, said: “We are proud to be a part of this development. It will be a great asset to the local area. With many units now let to a variety of businesses, it will cater for all.”
Monks Way retail park is part of a partnership between Hull City Council and property consortium KSHP – made up of housing developer Keepmoat, Strata Homes, Persona, part of Home Group and Priority Space. The consortium is developing 1,700 houses next to the retail site, some of which are already occupied.
Wawne Road is a strategic housing development site in Hull City Council’s economic vision for the city, and part of the Kingswood Area Action Plan, developed in 2016 to provide new housing, retail, leisure, and employment facilities in the Kingswood area.
