Two significant new deals have been completed at the £3m Bridge Business Park in Huddersfield.
Award-winning West Yorkshire property company Frank Marshall Estates has developed the park speculatively, having bought the land from Mamas & Papas in 2015.
The 2.73 acre site is situated next to the headquarters of Mamas & Papas in Colne Bridge Road, just off the main A62 Leeds Road and close to Junction 25 of the M62.
Aluminium and glazing specialists HWA have taken 18,000 sq ft in Units 2 and 3, while PTFE Flex are moving into the 7,000 sq ft Unit 1. Headline rents are £8 per sq ft. Only Unit 4, comprising 6,000 sq ft, is now unoccupied.
Terence “Chad” Chadwick, managing director of PTFE Flex, who manufacture PTFE hose assemblies, explained: “We are incredibly grateful to landlords Frank Marshall Estates, who have been our landlords from the very start in 2013. They helped us at our previous premises at Wellington Park Business Park in Bradford, which they own, and have supported us as our business has expanded.
“Ultimately we have outgrown our base at Wellington Park and moving to the Bridge Business Park seemed the obvious solution. We trust Edward and Jimmy Marshall of Frank Marshall Estates completely and it made perfect sense to move to their state-of-the-art new business park.
“The look and quality of our new building is superb, which fits in perfectly with our aspirations for the company. The location, meanwhile, is perfect. So it’s just right for us, providing an excellent base from where we can continue to expand and flourish.”

Sniffers Pet Care, a specialist Yorkshire pet food wholesaler and distributor, has already taken 6,250 sq ft of quality light industrial space at Bridge Business Park.
Edward Marshall commented: “There is a good deal of interest in the last remaining unit and we advise any prospective occupiers to come and take a look for themselves as soon as they can.
