Gerald Eve has strengthened its national building surveying team with the recruitment of Iain Pepler as partner, based at the firm’s Glasgow office.
Iain joins from Watts Group, where he was Scottish lead director, and brings with him 18 years of experience in all facets of building consultancy and lease exit advice. Iain led the reopening of Watts’ Glasgow office, and was previously responsible for the provision of Capita’s building surveying services across Scotland and Ireland.
Ken Thurtell, partner at Gerald Eve and head of the firm’s Glasgow office, said: “Iain’s arrival is a central part of our expansion plans in Scotland, and will enable us to offer our clients an even better level of service and advice. As a firm we seek to invest in talent across all our offices, and as our building surveying services continue to grow, senior hires such as Iain are a key part of our strategy. We have seen an increasing demand for building surveying advice from all sectors of our client base and Iain’s arrival will add to our national capability and reach.”
Iain Pepler added: “I am delighted to join Gerald Eve and look forward to working with clients old and new, building upon the firm’s market-leading reputation for providing tailored, expert and reliable advice.”
