Savills, on behalf of Ambercroft Properties Ltd, has sold the freehold of the former Gainsborough pub on Main Road in Uffington, Stamford to The Old English Company.
The building, which dates back to the 19th century, comprises 3,363 sq ft (312 sq m) of space. The stationery and giftware brand plans to convert the property, which was most recently occupied by The Mulberry Bush day nursery, into an office for its own occupation.
Edward Gee, associate director in the business space team at Savills Peterborough, comments: “The property on Main Road provided The Old English Company with an excellent opportunity to acquire a period property close to the historic market town of Stamford.”
