Practical completion took place yesterday on the first new speculative industrial development in the Brighton area for the last 15 years. Keys were handed over to Neil Chapman the CEO of Endeavour Holdings for these two new high-quality units on the Victoria Road Trading Estate, totalling 3,870 sq ft and 4,003 sq ft.
Other occupiers on the estate include Plumbing Trade Supplies, Independent Motor Factors and Rivervale whilst Chandlers BMW and Mini and Lookers Mercedes are close by.
The units are available to let on new leases via marketing agents SHW.
David Martin, Partner at SHW commented: “We are really excited to be marketing these brand new warehouse units on this popular trading estate. The unit sizes are ideal for the market and the rents are very competitive for brand-new units. The units are finished to a shell condition allowing tenants the flexibility to fit out the accommodation to their own requirements. The units are available to lease now, either separately or combined.
“Development generated a high number of enquiries during the construction period and we are confident of securing suitable tenants for the units soon, now the scheme has completed. The units will prove attractive to trade operators with the current shortage of units in the city as well as the high level of trade rents being charged elsewhere in Brighton and Hove.
“In addition, the location of the estate being close to the Hangleton link road with access to the A27 is likely to prove popular to more traditional industrial and warehouse occupiers providing access across the city.”
