Dawsongroup has acquired the first plot at Delta Properties’ extension of Central Park, Bristol located off the Severn Road, Avonmouth.
Following Delta Properties’ outstanding success over the last few years in completing its Central Park development, it is now releasing into the market the next phase of its landholdings in Bristol. This first phase, of just under 50 acres, benefits from the same extant planning consents which benefit Central Park.
Dawsongroup has purchased the first plot of just over 6 acres.
Freya Dawson, Group Property Director and Main Board Member, said: “After 4 years of searching for the right site in Avonmouth, we are thrilled to have completed on this purchase with Delta Properties. Opening our first “Super Site” is a big step for Dawsongroup and will create a Western hub for numerous businesses within The Group.”
Michael Shebson, of Delta Properties said: “We are delighted to welcome Dawsongroup as our first occupier for this next phase of our development. We are already on site putting in the road and utilities infrastructure for the first 50 acre phase, which will be finished before the end of the year. The land benefits from the same planning consents as those at Central Park; there is a particularly strong market for smaller plots, especially from owner-occupiers, for open storage type uses. We are in discussions with a number of other potential occupiers and expect to announce more deals shortly. We have strong interest in the remaining plots.”
Knight Frank and Avison Young acted on behalf of Delta Properties.
