Barker Storey Matthews, now part of Eddisons, is celebrating a trio of award successes in The Radius Data Exchange Regional Agency Awards.
The awards were presented to Barker Storey Matthews earlier this week at The Varsity Hotel in Cambridge city centre, at a ceremony described as ‘a celebration of the East of England’s number one commercial property dealmakers’.
Out of a total of 12 regional awards presented on the night, Barker Storey Matthews walked away with three accolades: Most Active Agent, Most Active Instructions and Dealmaker. All were awarded in the category for Cambridgeshire – a county in which Barker Storey Matthews has a strong presence with three office locations in Cambridge, Huntingdon and Peterborough. As an award recognising the individual effort of an agent, the Dealmaker was identified as Richard Jones of the agency’s Peterborough office.
The Radius Data Exchange Regional Agency Awards are organised by, and hosted across the platform of commercial property research specialists, EGi and its companion publication, Estates Gazette (EG). The East of England annual awards scheme is open to all commercial agents, including national firms, who complete deals in Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.
Radius Data Exchange charts commercial property deals countrywide, giving property professionals up-to-date, accurate and detailed information on transactions across all commercial property market sectors.
In presenting the Most Active Agent award to Barker Storey Matthews, the judges made special mention of the fact that the agency had completed 50 per cent more transactions than any other competing agency in the Cambridgeshire category.
Commenting on Barker Storey Matthews’ award success, Steve Hawkins, Partner at Eddisons, said, “These industry awards are coveted as they signal an independent endorsement of agency expertise and achievement.
“Our clients – and any property professionals with whom we deal – can be confident that they are working with the best in the region.
“It’s a win for the agency, but this is only due to the efforts of each individual agent who all continue to work hard to keep us top of the property pile in the region and, specifically, in the high performing, high octane markets of Cambridgeshire.”
