JLL, Scotland’s leading property consultancy, has promoted three members of its staff who originally joined the business as graduates to senior positions.
The announcement highlights JLL’s commitment to staff development and comes just weeks after the firm was named by LinkedIn as the sixth best place to work in the UK.
Edinburgh based Freya Pottinger has been promoted to Senior Planning Consultant while Geoff Ferguson, a specialist in affordable housing, also based in the capital becomes a Senior Surveyor.
Glasgow based Conor Doherty is also elevated to Senior Surveyor and will continue his role within the firm’s Valuation Advisory team.
The three staff have each been with JLL for over five years, having joined the business via JLL’s graduate scheme and completing their professional exams through either the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or the Royal Town Planning Institute.
Alasdair Humphery, lead director for JLL in Scotland, said: “These promotions are thoroughly well deserved and have been achieved as all three are now effectively operating in new, more senior roles as a result of delivering a consistently impressive service for our clients. We pride ourselves on an unwavering commitment to attract and retain the best talent our industry produces. These promotions are testament to this ambition and I’m proud to see that all three have chosen to learn, become professionally qualified and continue to develop their careers here at JLL.”
In Scotland, JLL employs around 120 members of staff in its two offices, acting on some of the largest, most prestigious schemes in the country.
JLL advises developers, investors and occupiers in all major property markets, covering offices; retail and leisure; industrial and logistics; residential; mixed-use schemes; planning and renewables and development land.
