Frankie Labbate, surveyor at FHP Property Consultants, has let Unit 1, 1-7 St James Street, Nottingham acting on behalf of Omentronic Limited to Jack Craggs Barbers and Coffee.
Jack Craggs Barbers & Coffee are a partnership which combines exotic South American sourced sustainable coffee products with a stylish and contemporary men’s barbers. Jack Craggs moving into the city centre on a busy location such as St James Street clearly illustrates their intent on growing their brand and providing a bespoke experience and service to the population of Nottingham. The concept of barbers and coffee is one of which that does not already exist in the city centre. Its conception presents an exciting and unique brand.
Frankie Labbate of FHP commented: “I am delighted to have secured Jack Craggs on what is their first city centre venture and I am proud to see such an innovative concept make its way into the city centre retail market. I firmly believe that there is a demand for a combination of quality men’s barbering services with the accommodation of having the ability to enjoy organically and sustainably grown coffee within the same establishment. Hopefully this will open the floodgates to further unique concepts opening in the vicinity which can only be a positive for Nottingham.”
“Jack Craggs offers a unique experience with combinations of modern, classic and contemporary ethos and décor. They have already opened their doors to their venture and I have no doubts that they will have every success with their business moving forward. The presence of their individual approach to barbering within the city really compliments occupiers not only in the vicinity but throughout the city centre as a whole. Hopefully the introduction of such a concept will encourage an injection of further variety into the Nottingham retail market”
Tom Heafford of Jack Craggs Barbers and coffee commented: “It has been 12 months in the waiting trying to set up our business. We spent months on our business plan, harnessing ideas and looking at whether they were feasible for a business. We had originally found another premise which fell through as the owners of the property accepted an offer to buy the premise from another party during our negotiations. I had had previous contact with Frankie at FHP and I again made contact to see what he had to offer. I cannot thank him enough with the help and support he and FHP have provided in finding 1 St James’ Street. It is perfect for our venture and we are confident that it will offer us the platform to flourish as a business.
The barbers and grooming side of the business will be run by my wife, Sara. She will be managing a team of highly experienced barbers and beauticians who we believe all have the desire and attitude to help Jack Craggs be successful.
On the coffee side, we have sourced Organically Shade Grown coffee from Peru. The flavour is fantastic and with our trained baristas we hope to introduce people to this delight from South America. There will be a variety of cakes, sweets, crisps and nuts also available which have all been meticulously sourced to enhance the customer experience in the shop.
I can only hope that people come and visit us in our family run shop as I strongly believe the interior decor, products and services bring something special to the city centre of Nottingham.
