A new, innovative independent estate agency is launching in Bristol today (Wednesday 1st May) promising to shake up the Bristol market with its unique approach to customer service.
NEXA Bristol is the latest business to join the vibrant community at Wapping Wharf, opening its stylish hub in a newly-created, contemporary space in the trademark converted shipping containers at CARGO 2.
The three shipping containers have been fitted out to create an attractive and inviting base for the newly launched Bristol business.
NEXA Bristol is the brainchild of a group of professional Bristol Rugby players who have since developed successful careers in the property sector. Born out of a sense of frustration they experienced with the traditional UK estate agency model when working on their own property businesses, the team has ambitions to turn the Bristol market ‘upside down.’
The new NEXA Bristol model is based on offering clients a single point of contact from their team of highly experienced and knowledgeable property experts, to advise and look after their own individual customers from start to finish, whether they are looking at renting, buying, selling, or developing property.
Staff are generously rewarded by results which means the company can attract the best in the business to offer unrivalled expertise and customer service.
Former Bristol Rugby players Daniel Gray, Rob Higgitt and Olly Kohn – owner of the highly acclaimed Pigsty restaurants at Wapping Wharf and Gloucester Road – are joining forces with Daniel’s brother Jamie Gray in establishing NEXA Bristol as a better way of doing business in property.
The model has already been trialled with great success in Portsmouth, where NEXA ranked in the top three agencies on Right Move within a year.
The NEXA team chose Bristol and Wapping Wharf as their headquarters because of their close personal connections with the city and because the city’s independent, pioneering spirit reflects perfectly their commitment to innovation and doing things differently.
Jake Gready, a highly experienced and knowledgeable estate agent and leader in the Bristol market, has joined to head up the team as managing director at NEXA Bristol. His career in property spans 25 years, including managing offices for Bristol’s largest independent agent and helping them achieve national awards.
Jake says: “When I was approached to head up NEXA Bristol, I jumped at the chance as I really feel Bristol is ready for this new model of estate agency where everything is focused around the providing continuity for the customer. And we’re really excited to be joining the vibrant, dynamic business community of Wapping Wharf – working alongside passionate people who, like us, want to offer customers something better.”
Stuart Hatton, managing director of Umberslade, the developer behind Wapping Wharf, welcomed the latest addition to CARGO:
“We’re delighted to be creating a new space at CARGO especially for the NEXA team, with newly arrived shipping containers now being converted on site.
“They will be joining a tight-knit supportive business community at Wapping Wharf, which is an ideal place for a business like NEXA Bristol and when Olly came to talk to me about it, I felt it would offer something a bit different and complement the other offerings there.”
